Knife block made of Nero Assoluto with gold plating around the Jura yellow chunks.
Knife block with a unique Jura yellow chunk, which is sawn on one side and polished to a high gloss, with an open crystal deposit in the parent rock, as well as on the natural back. You can clearly see how 155 million years ago the cracks and cavities filled with mineral-rich water through enormous geological processes, which over time led to the formation of these crystals. If a residual cavity remains after a crystal filling, this is also known as a geode. Jura yellow is a limestone that is very popular due to its beautiful, silky-glossy surface. It can also have fossils embedded in it. This piece was found in a quarry in Germany. The holders of the Jura chunk are gold-plated.
The Nero Assoluto natural stone is one of the most elegant of its kind. The black stone is a gabbro, a magmatic stone of plutonic origin. Also known as plutonite, these stones are formed deep inside the earth, mainly in the oceanic crust. Among the gabbros, the Nero Assoluto Zimbabwe is a rare plutonic rock in the composition of a gabbro-plutonic stone. The special feature here is that this stone appears almost exclusively in black and is covered with tiny minerals.
