Knife block made of Labrador Blue Pearl with gold plating and a rare mud lobster that is partially gold plated.
Fossil mud lobster in very rare museum quality. Mud lobster is partially gold-plated. This 2 to 5 million year old fossil of a lobster is incredibly well preserved and above all complete, which increases its rarity enormously. Mud lobsters belong to the Thalassina genus. The site is on an Indonesian island. They lived 5 million years ago on the Asian mangrove coasts, where the crabs known as mud lobsters dig up to 2 m deep into the mud, where they lead a safe life in the protection of their caves. But a huge natural event with sedimentation avalanches led to the animals being quickly embedded, where they fossilized over time and the enormous pressure. The attachment of the lobster, with the Star Galaxy Gold, is gold-plated.
Labrador Blue Pearl belongs to the syenite category . These natural stones have a close connection with plutonites, the plutonic rocks, and are therefore also known as the syenite/monzonite family. These very beautiful stones have a high proportion of feldspars, but contain relatively little quartz. As a natural stone, its shimmering effects create a very elegant ambience in the home. Even in ancient Egypt, labradorite was used for artistic statues and in magnificent interiors.
