Labrador Antique Diamond Cut Knife Block

With its dark coloring, Labrador Antique is one of the extraordinarily beautiful types of granite. is very popular due to its luxurious appearance, this granite is characterized by luminous inclusions. Thus, the Labrador Antik creates a very special ambience for lovers of stylish home decor. This natural stone is categorized as anorthosite among the various types of granite. Anorthosites have special properties. Are you wondering how they could have been formed? TYCOON STONE SCHMIDKE explains it to you: These plutonic rocks have a high proportion of mixed crystals, i.e. plagioclases. They produce intense light reflections in the rock mass, which are referred to as iridescent (interference colors). This is an optical phenomenon in which the surface appears in different colors depending on the perspective. The igneous rock mass therefore presents itself with dark minerals and light, iridescent inclusions. Such plutonites were formed in a very slow cooling process at great depths in the earth's crust. Such a combination of extremely high temperatures and the depth of formation caused a slow crystallization, which in the end results in the typical large-grain structure. Labrador Antik looks particularly beautiful in rooms with generously sized windows. The blue light reflections create a very special effect here.
